Meatballs: Large Family Freezer Cooking from a Single Mom of 5

There is nothing I hate more than having to scroll through a long diatribe before getting a recipe so let’s start there shall we! If you are looking to make a large batch of meatballs or do a bulk meatball cooking day this is the recipe for you!

Meatballs (makes 250, give or take depending on the size you make them)

10lb Ground Beef

5lb Ground Pork

18 eggs

1- 15oz container Italian Bread Crumbs

1/2 of a 16oz container of Parmesan cheese

3 loaves Italian bread (or whatever bread you have around) soaked in water and squeezed out

2 cups dried parsley flakes (you can use fresh parsley also)




1. Throw it all into a bowl (a gigantic bowl like this one https://amzn.to/2YuiZ8I) and mix it. Yes it sounds gross to stick your hands in it, so make the kids do it....they think it’s fun.

2. Roll out meatballs

3. Bake them in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes or fry them in oil 3-4 minutes and then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

4. Freeze them and reheat when needed.
